The Cambridge OCR Level 3 Advanced National in Human Biology – Extended Certificate was designed to bridge practical biological science with applied real‑world contexts. It will develop knowledge, understanding and skills that will help prepare students for progression to undergraduate study and are relevant to the medical science sector.

This qualification will complement other learning that you are completing at Key Stage 5. It will be part of your studies along with A Levels and/or other Level 3 qualifications.

Throughout the course, both the subject specific knowledge, understanding and skills, and broader transferable skills developed, opens a wide range of further study and career options including:
